I love fabrics, fashion, dressing up, collecting vintage garments, creating new from old & from scratch, distinctive glossy pictures in fashion magazines & avant-garde designers & unique street-chic. Style wise I personally like to rebel against strict fashion trend fascism, because I feel that life is too short to be just another brick in the wall! I detest places like the GAP (Jeans & Tee uniformity) & you’d be more likely to find me rummaging through the rails in the local Salvation Army store for hidden gems from a bygone era. I’m a self-confessed dress addict and I own over 200 of them, so I guess you could say I’m a bit like Imelda Marcos but with dresses instead of shoes! If you are wondering why I write in English, it’s because I don’t have a Swedish keyboard & I think it looks silly to write Swedish without the three obligatory additional letters. I was born in Sweden, I grew up there & I am Swedish from first to last & proud of it too but I’ve lived in the UK since 1994. Please feel free to visit my other blog too.
